Event Details
The journal FormAkademisk has published a special issue titled ‘Perspectives on Design literacy’. Researchers from different countries including Chile, China, Norway, Singapore, Sweden and Turkey have contributed with aspects of design literacy at different levels of design education.
As editors of the special issue, we will present the issue and use it a as point of departure to discuss design education in different contexts. We wish to promote design literacy to foster social responsibility and sustainable practices.
The event will be a panel presentation and discussion with the community.

We will also be looking for ideas from everyone on future discussion events.
The Futures of Design Educaiton series oraganises monthly presentations and discussion on key topics in global design education. The aim is to highlight and share the plurality of contemporary, global practice and issues, as well as how this may inform futures of design education.
